I always appreciate the work you do on my car - it's fast and fair, and you do a great job explaining everything to me. I also appreciate the flexibility with the schedule and being able to pick up my car after hours since I often cannot make it there before closing. My one complaint with this most recent job was being charged more than I was told over the phone. I was told the total cost of the job, provided my credit card information, agreed to the amount, and believed we were all set. Once I received the receipt in my car when I went to pick it up, the first receipt was there with the amount quoted over the phone. However, there was a second receipt for an additional $68 that appears to be for a hazardous materials removal fee. This wasn't included in the initial amount I was told and I wasn't called to update me that this was also an included fee. Given that the job wasn't cheap with the amount of work I needed done, I wasn't happy to see that I had been charged an additional $68 from what I was already expecting to pay. I would not have been upset by this had I been called and asked for approval before an additional charge was placed on my card, but this felt like a very unprofessional move. I've been taking my car here for about a year and have always appreciated working with Mark and the rest of the staff as they've helped me get my car into good working order, which is why I still give them 4 stars. I'm just disappointed with how this charge was handled given that I trust them to run my card information for the amount specified, nothing more.
